INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION
Not just anyone is allowed to teach at the Martial Arts Center. Students must go
through a rigorous program just to be able to assist with an Instrcutor. We pride ourselves
on the quality of our teachers. It takes about 8 years of continuous
training to be able to teach here. It typically takes 4 years to reach 1st Degree Black Belt.
Certification Class takes roughly 2 years to finish.
After becoming a Certified Assistant Instructor, you spend another
2 years in an Apprenticeship before you earn the title Instructor. By this point you should also
be a 2nd Degree Black Belt.
The Certification Lessons are held at the Braintree Headquarters on Monday nights. The training
not only includes rigorous physical study of the adult curriculum, but also includes:
1) Mental training and lessons
2) Methods of teaching movements to different kinds of students
3) History and origin of the Martial Arts
4) Korean, Japanese, and Chinese languages used at the school
5) Human anatomy and physiology
6) CPR and First Aid Certification
